Building a frame mount tank...NEED DESIGN INSIGHT!!

Well I have decided that I don't like the look of the blazer tanks and don't like the price of custom stainless tanks so I have decided to design and build my own gas tank. I will have a local guy cut all the pieces I need out of 16ga or 14 ga. stainless and I will TIG it all together. I am little stumped on a few issues though:

1. Baffles? What is the best way to accomplish baffling so when the tank is 1/4 full I don't starve the engine for fuel on a hard corner or what not? I was thinking out using a "trap door" style like on circle track oil pans...let the fuel into the sump area but not out...what do you think???

2.is there a place online that sells parts to build your own fuel cell? I need the fuel pump manifold and sender manifold to easily fabricate them into the take I make...

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

I would look toward the stock car, dirt track, modified sprint car or even speed/jet boat side of things. They do a lot of custom or fab work to fit stuff. I have seen a lot of fuel tank/system stuff in those types of catalogs.
Plus NASAR stuff.............I live by Charlotte, Concord and Mooresville NC, quite a few builders here

If you want a custom tank built contact American Tanks in San Diego,CA.
They can build a tank to your drawings/dimensions and ship it to you. I've
seen their work and it is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. Their phone
number is 619-462-4076.
