Billet and Bowtie affair

Hey All,

I have a 68 shortbed fleetside I am building.

I am looking for a billet bowtie to mount in the factory front grille location.

Also, I have seen some 67-68 trucks with billet inserts n the upper and lower grilles. Anyone know if these are "homemade" or does someone sell a bolt in set?

Thanks

Re: Billet and Bowtie affair

I have some nice new billet bowties that fit the over park light lens, using the stock screw locations. They make the park lights shine and look like bowties.
Here's pics of 69 & 72. I have them for 67-8 also, just don't have pics in truck.

Re: Billet and Bowtie affair

Please excuse my little hi-jack, I just wanted to answer/offer BP an option...seems there is some other interest...so:
Billet bowties are $60 pr shipped. (They originally sold for $85 pr.) The supply is very limited because the manufacturer no longer has a GM license and cannot make or sell any more. Please PM for more details.

Re: Billet and Bowtie affair

A billet bowtie from TRENZ that is made to fit a 90's S10 will fit with a little mod to the 2 holes in the grill. They need to be 1/16" bigger and its a bolt on perfect fit.
