69 gmc no markers ?
i went to look at a 69 gmc 2wd short bed 6cyl 3spd had rear leafs and the stye markers with no bulbs in the m . the funny part i dont understand is the rear bed sides had no markers at all . the truck was supposed to be all original and it looked it . i am not up on my gmcs any input . note pics will follow if i buy it . I lost my digi camera .

how about the front markers ? no wiring for the markers ,it seems to be all original under the hood .has manual drums all the way around but it does have power steering .

My 69 has the lens and no bulbs or wiring, the lens doesn't even a spot to put the bulb in.

the bulbs were optional in 68 and 69, onless you had a cab chassis, then it was a federally required option, allong with the clearance lamps on the roof.
The bed is either modified, or a 67. The seller is either mistaken, or mistaken you for a fool. |

i wasnt sure on the marker light wiring part . the bed must have been changed the only clue i saw was a half doller size dent on the back of the cab that had beed filled and the filler cracked . it makes some sence the bed is the nicest one i have seen o rot some swelling near the rear cross member but even the floor is rot free . the cab overall is still very solid but will need the basics with a little patching on the firewall .its funny when you look at a truck and if there is a little or alot of rust you still wind up replacing the same panels sometimes just a little more than the other .
