Where do I run the vacuum for my power booster?

I have an Edelbrock Performer manifold that has a few locations, but I wasn't sure if that was where I ran it to. Right now the only vacuum I have is running from the HEI to the carb. Do I just install a fitting on the back of the manifold and run it from there? I feel like a jackass because I didn't pay attention when I pulled it off the donor.

If there is a port at the back of the manifold then use it,If not use the big one in the baseplate under the carb. You may have to "T" it for your tranny if its an auto.

That's what mine does.
I actually have a 90° with a threaded port on top then a tee on top of that for my tranny and a vacuum inside the cab (the 90° feeds the booster).

BTW - I am using a Performer RPM, so it should be about the same as yours.

I know of at least one on the back side of the manifold, I just wanted to make sure that was where it should be. My truck is a 4 speed, so that doesn't help. I will pick up a fitting tonight and hope for the best.
