Free to good home: window felt scrapers...

Unfortunately these things can only be bought in sets, and in the course of trying to get the rubber sides installed without a) scraping the new paint or b) kinking up, I've had to buy a few additional sets...

Anyway - if anyone needs felt scrapers for the window (the part that clips in to the bottom of the opening, where you rest your arm if it's out the window) let me know and I'll send them to you, just pay shipping and they're yours. I have (ahem) two sets... but I'm REALLY good at putting the rubber scrapers on by now! Fit a 72 for sure, up to you to decide if they fit your cab.

PS - this is a great site, glad to have stumbled upon it. I've got a 72 LWB K10 350 auto that is just back on the road after over a year of sitting dormant. I traded a local paint shop a car in exchange for a paint job, outside only (bed off but not cab off). Took it down to the metal and made it nice and smooth all around, even filling in some of the factory welds, etc. A tiny bit of rust still in the passenger lower kick panel but just interior, not through the outer skin. 86k miles, been in the family since day 1. Interior untouched except for soap and water. Still needs work... but are these things ever finished? BTW - some AWESOME looking trucks on this site, and great people / technical info too. I dropped in an HEI this weekend (vice spending the $$ to rebuild the points distributor) and man what a difference. Chose a Mallory unit vs. junkyard/ebay/stock/other aftermarket and got 76 vette wires w/plugs at .040 (all tricks learned from this board). Set the timing to 9 deg BTDC and thar she blows... Used to spend 5 minute pumping/feathering the throttle ever-so just to start her up, now all I do is pump once and turn the key.

Very good... one state to the right... "rust-free" NM. Truck grew up in Nevada and has been here the last 18 years or so.
