3rd door handle

What is the difference between front passenger door handle and 3rd door handle on a burb? I see parts price is different.

Re: 3rd door handle

Where do you see a price difference? It shows the same part for both right hand doors and the rear cargo door in my LMC catalog.

Re: 3rd door handle

Don't fall for that one. The 3rd door handle is exactly the same as the front passenger door handle (as well as the back door handle if you have barn doors). The only thing you may have to do is cut the tip off of the inner plunger rod of the handle. The rod is scored at the end so you know where to cut it. Obviously test fit the handle first, but I did this on my Burb and it worked perfect.

Re: 3rd door handle

yep,I too had to replace the one on the back,(barn)door and used one from the passenger side.Had to reuse the plunger cause the one on the back is longer than the upper doors.works great.Randy

Re: 3rd door handle

The one that is scored has the longer plunger for the rear cargo door. I don't remember which part number had the longer (probably the single).
