Disc Brake Swap

I have a fair understanding about what goes on in this swap (drum to disc), but I read somewhere about changing A-arms. Is this necessary? (Half ton 2wd)

Re: Disc Brake Swap

depending on the kit it may be but the majority of the kits out there use the origional control arms such as the ones that www.brotherstrucks.com has. the spindle does need to be changed out and you can get a stock spindle or a 2.5 inch drop spindle with the kit.
