Re: Whiiiriiririiririir..........whhhhrririiririiririri

mine just sounded like a damned derby car. it was loud, in its own unique way. Especially if you had her steady at 55-60mph, then it was one of those things where you yell at yourself because you can no longer hear yourself thinking. Ohhhh man was that thing louder than hell. I think I'm going to keep it pretty loud, haha. More of the "BRRRWWAAAARRRRRrrrr" "whoop whoop (red lights)" loud....

overall length of my exhaust is about 3 feet, if even... after headers. There's enough holes in the damned thing too... Whatever hillbilly crafted the exhaust up on that needs to be shot.

hmmm.... I might have to swap a Vortec 454 in my 97 now... with open headers... that sounds sweet. Now you gotta post a video showing all the things fall off the wall when you rap it up

Sounds great. Reminds me of when I first got my 454 going.

its not even a vortec, i got the covers from a swap meet and cleaned them up. afaik its a bone stock 77 truck motor, peanut port heads 2bolt, low compresion motor. i put a eddy performer, holley spread bore of ??? cfm and the headers, it sounds like a freaking nascar. i havent even tuned the timing in, that was just a rough timing for startings sake.

i have a spare hood on some 2x2s on the back of the bed, it HAD a pile of tools and small parts on it, aparently it self cleaning!!!

ive listened to it maybe 100 times, its like a sound track for me now.
