Been there a lot of times, and quite often there is several names says there is chat goin on but no one responds. Something wrong with how I sign in or sumthin? I'm 2 hours earlier than most of yall but I still dont get why those names are up there and nuthin bein posted. ?????????

Sometimes they are there by name only to be surfing this site somewhere.

most people who come in only stay a minute or two. The people who are there alot ( the names you are talking about) will be surfing etc like mudder said, and by the time they look back, the new people have come and gone. When ya'll go in the room, you have to give it a few minutes.
I have gone in several times, where it appears noone is there and 5 minutes later you have 8 people talking at once
