Which transmission should I use?

I am installing a carbureted 6.0 with ls6 heads/z06 cam. I have a turbo 350 in it now, but I would like to go overdrive. Any input would be great.

Thanks

4L80E would be VERY expensive to install and hook up.

Re: Which transmission should I use?

A good 700R4 is easy to put in and the overdrive can be hooked up with a kit or a toggle switch....Just get a newer model so you dont have front pump issues, I think every one made after 92 was corrected. Overdrive is great as long as you use it properly.

700r4, if you want lock up then you have to wire it and have the correct torque converter. very easy to install. best tranny I have ever had.
