fiberglass fenders?

I know that there is tilt front ends that are fiberglass but do they just make fenders for 1967-1972 trucks?
Thanks
Robert

Re: fiberglass fenders?

I think that classicparts.com has them. I may be wrong, but I thought I saw them in the catalog or online while browsing.

Re: fiberglass fenders?

the only ones I have ever seen are the rear ones for stepside......... just call the guys that make the front clip... if they can make a whole clip they should be able to cut you a fender special

Re: fiberglass fenders?

Now that it has been mentioned, it may have been the rear fenders that I seen.

Re: fiberglass fenders?

I've been lookin' for glass front fenders for my 71 shortstep for 5+ years, haven't found them yet. I've got glass rear stepside fenders, rear stepside steps, hood, front inner fenders, front and rear roll pans but no glass front fenders.

What he said, I've never seen them either, was mention of a tail gate skin once on here.

Re: fiberglass fenders?

Hey guys, Ive been lookin for fiberglass front's too. I have a lil' bit of previous history of fiberglassing. Been thinking about making my own fiberglass fenders. Not full fiberglass, but alot lighter than stock thats for sure. Just waiting on more money for 'glass mats though. Cant seem to keep enough of a money flow.

Re: fiberglass fenders?

How much weight do you think all that fiberglass stuff takes off? Hood, inner/outer fenders, roll pan, etc. And how well does it affect gas mileage?
