Auto Restorer Magazine
Anyone have a subscription to this magazine, and if so what do you think? It sounds like it might have some good info?

I used to subscribe to the magazine but I dropped the subscription because the articles target the older cars and I am into the 65-72 era. Some of the articles were very interesting but just not applicable to what I needed. In the (2) years that I subscribed there was one article that was useful for me.

I currently subscribe to the magazine, and I do find it useful and enjoyable. I own a '67 pickup, two '64s and a '41 tractor. I am doing a frame-off restoration on one of the '64s. Most of the restoration tips are applicable to my trucks. I would recommend it to someone who is interested in preserving the originality of an old truck or car or in making "stock" safety and performance improvements. I would NOT recommend it to those who want to hot rod or "trick out" their vehicles, or who are trying to maintain daily drivers on a tight budget.
Hope that helps! Take care, Dan '67 C10 |
