Emergency brake cable

Has anyone setup emergengy brakes with an aftermarket cross member that doesnt have the bracket built in? I am thinking that maybe a 70-72 brake cable may work but not sure. Any ideas?

Re: Emergency brake cable

raphyel, You can run an emergency brake cable setup for a 66 to 68 Chevy truck. It suspends the cable like the later model setups but uses the emergency brake handle that's already in the truck. Kevin
