Removing Bowtie on Hood
How are the bowties attached to the hoods on the 1969-1970 trucks? I'm thinking about taking mine off, but not sure how to go about this. What is the best way of doing it? Thanks.

Re: Removing Bowtie on Hood
Thanks. I looked at it, but couldn't find out what size the nut is. Kind of a tight space to work in.

Re: Removing Bowtie on Hood
I took it off and waxed the paint, but it might go back on. It looks like it was on their too tight and cut some grooves in paint. I like the look of it with the bowtie off though.
