Moving Gas Tank?
I recently bought a bed that has a hole in the side of it 18" from the front of the bed on the left side for a gas tank filler neck. there are straps under bed also. does anyone know where i can get a gas tank to fit this bed or one that would fit, maybe 73 or newer truck? I would really like to eliminate the tank from inside the cab and use a tank under bed if possible, but i dont want to put the filler neck in the bed floor.
thanks Rick |

Re: Moving Gas Tank?
I just purchased a poly tank from Truck Shop (TN not CA) at Fall @ Carlisle. You might catch them tomorrow if you hurry. $165 for the tank and 225 for the kit... email if you have questions, I live in Lebanon. msgross@hotmail.com

Re: Moving Gas Tank?
sounds like you had a aux tank, does it have a switching valve lever on the floor by the drivers side seat?
They come up for sale once in a while but not sure where to get one new, I need a set myself |

Re: Moving Gas Tank?
The bed came off of a camper special truck, never saw the cab, but with the straps & wiring under bed it had to be an aux tank from the factory.
