Removing Paint On Gill

The PO of my truck painted the "CHEVROLET" on the grill to match the color of the truck and it looks like crap (I think he used a paint brush ). I want to remove the paint and I know the paint is a poly. What will remove this paint without damaging the grille? Paint thiner? Thanks.

Re: Removing Paint On Gill

You can always mask and cut if there`s concern about the anodizing. But,like John said, shouldn`t hurt it.

Re: Removing Paint On Gill

I think that it looks pretty slick to have letters painted to match the truck. Are you going to put them back painted right?

Re: Removing Paint On Gill

Not right now. I agree that it looks pretty cool when the letters are painted to match, but this was executed very poorly.
