Help, Mirror Question

I have a 3/4 ton with the huge mirrors, wanna take em off and put the smaller oem 1/2 ton mirrors on it.. Can anyone send me close up pics of theres so i can see exactly where i need to drill holes for em or maybe even measure for me on the door where to drill or send pics with tape measure showing... that would be great!!! Thanks!!!!

Re: Help, Mirror Question

What type of mirrors are you installing, dumbo type or the smaller sport mirrors. I just removed the old camper style fold out and flip to extend for the dumbo type. If using the dumbo type just use the front top bolt hole- threaded and using the braket figure where the new holes need to be drilled.
Hope this helps.

Re: Help, Mirror Question

I think Chris (CptKaos or something like that) posted some measurements once with a drawing. You might see if the search turns up anything. I couldn't find it.

Re: Help, Mirror Question

Wouldn't you have the big trypod style on a 3/4 camper and not the 1/2 dumbo ones? The half tons came stock with the dumbo and sport could you specipghy which one ?

just so i have it right you want these right ?

This is the dimensions for the small sport mirrors. If you need the dumbo's I can get that too...

Re: Help, Mirror Question

I got my door off a c60 dumptruck and it had even bigger mirrors then the trailers haha. I think it's something like, 2" 7/8" from the front of the door and 3/4" from the top front bolt hole then I just put the mirror on made it level traced it and colored in the holes double checked it all and drilled away. Looks good now. I'll go measure right now I'm going out anyway taking stuff off the parts truck.

Re: Help, Mirror Question

The black door is the passenger side and that would be from the front to the back.
