Hello from Central Florida
I just bought a '69 Chevrolet C/10 pick-up as a project truck. It's a roller and it's been badly abused. It's a SWB Step Side, but other than the frame and the box, these not a lot that's reusable. But it does come with some spare parts (fenders, hood) it was only $350.
I like to play with cars as a hobby, and also have a '64 Studebaker Daytona I'm working on. Just moved to Lakeland from Detroit in February.

Re: Hello from Central Florida
Thanks guys. I'll have pics in a bit. I'm buying the truck delivered and it's not at the house yet. It's primer black and rust...
The front sheet metal is scrap. The cab has more holes than swiss cheese (and so does the good, spare cab the comes with). There's a small chunk cut out of the frame near the front (probably for header clearance) but this should be repairable. There's not engine or trans, but the standard 12 bolt rear end is still out back. Plans? Fix the frame, get a used cab and swith the box to a Fleetside. The engine will be a 6.0L with a 4L60 trans.

Thanks for the reminder about Webster. I've gone past without time to stop while heading north. I'll also try the one in Zephyrhills. I won't be around over Thanksgiving, as my sister is getting married that week on a cruise (doesn't that suck ?).
