Q:Side to side spacing on lower control arm?

Does the dimple (hole) align with the front u joint on the crossmember?

Or do you center it?

Or is there some other offset?

Or does it even matter?

I hope this is what you're asking about..... each a-arm shaft has a 'dimple' @ each end that seats within a small locating dowel that's centered within the u-bolt mounts on the bottom of the front crossmember. Sometimes one dowel will protrude further out than another, but the outcome will still keep the shaft centered within the crossmember.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Q:Side to side spacing on lower control arm?

Thanks so much that is exactly what I was asking but in a convoluted way.

Thanks so much.
