Need radiator mounts help!

Okay, I have a 2-row radiator in my truck (came with L6).

I just got a 4-row radiator for my truck.

My core support has the proper holes and stuff for the 4-row radiator, but it seems the upper and lower saddles don't fit it. See here (closeup):

And here (at a distance):

Is this just the wrong radiator for my truck, or did they make bigger saddles for my radiator support? It seems like the lower saddles are about as big as they're going to get, and I don't think I can fit any larger saddles there.

Looks like a 3-row radiator would be a perfect fit, but the guys at 1-800-radiator do not issue refunds and do not list a 3-row radiator as being for this truck.

Advice welcome.

Re: Need radiator mounts help!

Thanks guys. Can anyone tell me the difference in length between the 2-row, 3-row and 4-row?

The ones on my truck now (2-row) can saddle a radiator 2¾" deep.
The radiator I have now (4-row) is 3½" deep.

The radiator place is trying to replace mine with a 3-row. I can go pick it up right now - and I am curious to know if the 2, 3 and 4-row radiator mounts are the same or different.

I Cut And Rewelded A Set Of The Top Mounts For A Guy. I Dont Know What He Did For The Bottoms Though. My Local Parts House Sells The Wider Saddle's Cheap.

Re: Need radiator mounts help!

I just swapped it out for a 3-row Delphi radiator (Ac-Delco, possibly).

All is well. 2-row and 3-row use same mounts. 3-row is just wider. I need to figure out now how to move the bottom rad mount closest to the battery box

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone knows how to move that bottom mount, please let me know!!
