Pic of my truck

Hey everyone!, Been here for a little while and just wanted to post a pic of my truck 71 Chev. SWB (I know... it has a GMC tailgate bought it that way)

Got the trim to go over it in woodgrain, BTW does anyone know where to get that woodgrain vinyl?

Anyway... there she is after seeing all of these others here I had to share!!

You have a hard to find Tail Gate. It is the small GMC Letters gate. You don't see these everyday. NICE TRUCK!!!!

Welcome! I also dig those rims. A very classic style that works so well on these trucks.

Re: Pic of my truck

I agree with the masses here, that is a bad ass looking truck... got any more pics of it?
The tail gate as billy mentioned, is the harder of the two to locate. It is a 67/68 piece. In 69 they went to a much larger style. If it is as good as it looks, you can demand top dollar.

Re: Pic of my truck

Nice truck! It's great to see Torque thrust (or similar?) rims on a truck that aren't 20's. Those look GREAT! Are you going to go with a GMC grill or Chevy tailagate? Don't see too many GMC's... be cool to have another nice one runnin around.

Edit: I'm an F-tard. I forgot you need 67-68 chevy fenders to use any of the 67-72 GMC grills (or GMC fenders, of course, but the truck is already painted.)

Re: Pic of my truck

Thanks again everyone! Sooo I guess putting the stock woodgrain applique panel isn't the best idea (you know the one that has the chev letters about
6" wide and aluminum) since it'll take about 12 screw holes in the tailgate.
The tailgate is in perfect shape maybe I just need to sell it and get a Chev one hade to ruin a good piece just to make it look like a Chev.

Yaa I've been contemplating putting some bigger wheels on it, If I keep them, I've got ALOT of polishing to do on them to get them pretty again.

I do likie the old Muscle look though.

not much more to see on it I've got to put an interior in it, nothing now just metal and need some brackets for my buddy buckets, need to detail the engine compartment etc..etc.. etc.. but she's a runner!!!

Keep the tailgate and swap the front over to a GMC

We could use a few more around
