building 327 options?

I have an older small journal 327 that has been bored .060. I have a set of the double hump 2.02 heads for it. I am going to add TPI during this work and am looking for options. The truck is not a daily driver so I am building it just for fun (may drive it more when it is finished and fun) anyway the truck is a fleetside 68 with a 400 turbo with a B&M holeshot 2000 stall 3.07 gears but will eventually add lower 3.73 posi. I know you can stroke and all the 350's but what, other than cams pistons and the like be done to the 327. Budget? Well of course as cheap as possible but no I don't really have anything set in stone want to see my options then par the price in line. This will be street and a local 1000 foot track.
Any thoughts wild, mild or start over would be great.

Thanks!
