Re: carb help

i'd just put a choke cable in...automatic chokes are a pain in the arse to set...never have to set a manual choke

Re: carb help

I bought a new Holley Street Avenger, and I've been really satisfied with it. Electric choke works every time, and the truck starts beautifully. Easy to tune, and good performance. Had to ditch the stock air cleaner, and plug some holes in the intake that the heat riser used. And had to change around the fuel line, and buy a bracket for the throttle cable, as well as an adapter to go from the square bore Holley to the spread bore Quadrajet manifold. A little tuning on the mixture screws with a vacuum gauge, and it's great.

Re: carb help

I agree, for street performance the Street Avenger is hard to beat.
