Chevelle Shorty headers fit? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I saw a few different threads talking about Camaro and other car "shorty" 3/4 length headers. I found these and wanted to know if they were the same thing (and they are only $100):

I have standard headers on there now, but they hang low and are very close to the frame. The frame was cut by the PO and looks awful. I'm not going to lay frame in this truck, but I would like to tuck the exhaust a bit more than it is now. I would strip the paint and shoot them with high temp powder coating. Thanks.

I've been thinking about these also. I lowered my truck 5"-7" and the full lengths are to close to ground. Maybe somebody can tell us if these will work.

I have wlk-86118 on my truck and I think that is what you are probably looking for, check out summit racing for more info.

Cool! They look the same to me, so it seems like they should fit. Not sure what brand and stuff, but looking at the ones Sumit has and these, they bends look the same.

Hedman makes a shorty header for our trucks. It's an Elite Hedder. The part # 69648. They are thermal coated(not ceramic coated) and have a 5yr warranty on the finish. www.hedman.com Give em a call and they'll tell you all about it.

I'm running Chevelle / Malibu 3/4 length headers on mine.
