Pressure test #'s for 700R4?
Hey fellas. I put a rebuilt tranny in my 67 (a 700R4) and I also included a bowtie overdrives TV made EZ kit and TC lock up kit. I previously had a 700R4 in the truck and it died after 5K (it was a junkyard tranny and had about 80K on it anyway). Anyway, I don't want to kill this one and I was curious to see if anyone had a pressure chart for the shifts for the 700R4. From BO site the only thing I could really find out was that there is supposed to be zero pressure at idle and at any touch of the throttle the pressure should jump up... but to what? I did a google too and came up empty handed....
I put the tranny in a couple weeks ago and did a 4 mile test drive... seems to have operated/shifted nicely and the TC was locking like it's supposed to. I set up the cable with the pan off and so that the TV lever was barely touching the throttle body valve plunger thing, but even BO warned that might not "exact."

Re: Pressure test #'s for 700R4?
That's perfect! Thanks!
One question... is it true it should be zero in park or neutral at idle? According to that site it should have pressure????? Are those #'s for a modified trans? EDIT: OOOPS! Just read that the tests were at 2K rpm.
