Re: 6" lift rear blocks

I wouldn't recommend running a rear block that is 6" tall on any truck. I would wait and do it the safe way.

You can do a shackle flip and a 2" block or extended shackles

Re: 6" lift rear blocks

Pick up the newest issue of Fourwheeler and look at this truck...and see what unsafe is..

http://www.fourwheeler.com/2006toptr..._terry_gilpin/

Granted the blocks look to have a small loop for the U bolts to go through, but the rear has stacked blocks and the front has a single block.

So like Chris said I wouldnt use a 6" block.. Heck I wouldnt use a block at all if I could get away with it.. the shackle flip is a far better alternative, with better performance for not that much more $$.

Re: 6" lift rear blocks

I think rough country has the 6 inch block that's cast iron 1 piece.

However my rough country 4 inch lift kit came with cast iron rear blocks and they are tapered to help correct pinion angle.
