Newbie, NE Arkansas, '72 Blazer 2wd
I just picked up this '72 Blazer. It still needs lots of little things, weatherstripping, minor details, exhaust, maybe air bags, wheels. I have lots of questions, hope I can post them in the right areas!
Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!
Guys thanks for the words. Its a '72 2wd 350/350 has P/S, P/B, A/C, TILT, supposed to be a CST, the old doors had the emblems but how can I be for sure it is a real CST? Is there a way to find out from the VIN? The label is destroyed in the glovebox. Buddy of mine bought it, had it painted, decided to sell it & was going to let it go for what I thought was cheap so I said if you are going to give it away give it to me! He used new doors, tailgate, fenders, grille, bumpers, has 2 new "plain" lenses on the left but the old CST lenses on the right. I think I will do the clear lenses on the sides also but I don't know if I want the CST or plain style. He had the seats covered in a light tan leather, & had flat door panels made that are covered in the same material. I want to get the dash pad covered to match even though I don't like the color. It needs all the window weatherstripping/seals. I was thinking about the 1 piece glass but it is $$$ it has to have some different mufflers/exhaust. It did have a set of 20's on it but the tires were too big IMO. He sold them a couple months ago. I hate the rollbar & I think I am going to paint the top silver. Any suggestions welcome!!

Re: Newbie, NE Arkansas, '72 Blazer 2wd
Took the top off yesterday & took that rollbar out. Might be a little safer with it (if it was bolted to something other than the floor!) But it sure looks better without it. I need a poll for the top. I went by the body shop supplie store to pick up some stuff to paint the top, he asked what I was going to do it in & I said silver, I have a new gallon already. He said it will look like crap with those tan seats. & I said yeah those tan seats do look like crap. He says to paint it tan to match the seats Then someone else said to paint it green body color. I am leaning that way, I hope it matches! I need to paint the drivers door anyway.
