Product Recommendations?
I was curious if anyone has used Mag-Hytech for transmission pans? How do you like them?
I am looking at the deep pan for my 4L80E. I have seen sites claim either a 4.5 quart increase down to a 3 1/3 quart increase. The reason why I am leaning towards this brand is because they offer extra ATF capacity plus they have the temp sender already machined in. Just curious if anyone had some feedback on them? Also, any feedback on Truckaddons.com? they sell them for $238. Also, when I do this swap, I will of course replace the filter but I am also toying with putting synthetic in there as well. How do you feel about Amsoil? They have a way of flushing your transmission by removing the cooler lines and putting them in a bucket. Then you start the engine and you pour fluid in at about the same rate that the fluid is coming out. Continue with this process until you have reached the capacity of your transmission. Has anyone done this method and is there anyone running synthetic? Just want some feedback. Thanks!!!!
