my latest truck-looks better now

i havent been able to post much on here lately, so thought i'd better get on the ball-

well here's the latest one i've got, i bought it in July...the guy i bought it from actually had a "his, and hers", this was his, and her's was a 86 with 14k miles on her
......any way, this one's a late production 86 with the 350 tbi, stock 3:73's with limited slip, and a 700r4 tranny

i've been working on it pretty steady, as time and $$ allows, while at the same time adding on a master suite and master bathroom to my house , money's been tight, so its taken alot longer than my projects usually take

so far i've:

did a compression check of all (8) cylinders-all within 150-158
changed the tranny fluid/filter
changed the front/rear diff. fluid's
changed the oil
added a 47k gvw trans cooler
changed over to a new 4-core radiator
installed new GM 4-core mounting brackets/fan shroud
installed new belts/hoses
new front brakes
new rear brake drums
new rear pinion seal
did a complete tune up
new GM oil pan
new set of autometer mechanical gauges
installed a brand new 4" Skyjacker all spring lift (rides smooth)
new Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer
installed new 35x12:50 Pro-Comp Mud Terrains

best of all, no rust on this baby at all, and its all GM

here's a before and after, these pics i took of it at the guys house the day i brought her home....the bottom pic shows the truck neatly "nessled" in bed where it lived out much of its adult life

That truck is awesome. I looked at the pics of some of your past trucks, you sure have good taste.

Great looking truck. Where did you find the 4 row upper mounting brackets?

Re: my latest truck-looks better now

I think these rims/tires would look great on either of your trucks.

i'm gonna try and make a sticky out of the part numbers for the 4-row conversion..in the mean time, here's all the info:

all my stuff, i bought from www.chevyduty.com, so these are there part #'s:

78-772 radiator rubber isolators (ya need 4) $3.95 apiece
78-845 top radiator cover $14.95
78-955 4-core 1 piece fan shroud $19.95

433730-4 core radiator auto zone part #, $158.99

the top rad cover mounts to the rad support, and the shroud holding it in place, everything else, bolts, clips ya just re-use from your stock set up

pretty cheap for this conversion by the way, all the parts i bought from chevy duty were GM
