Putting my 69 K10 back together
Ok,I started tearing my 69 K10 apart last year in the begining of December in hopes of doing a ground up restoration.Well, when I came across a very cheap 71 K10 swb fleet K10 witha 6 inch lift I jumped at the offer.Well, now its going into ground up restoration mode and the 69 is going back together
so I can just drive it.After the body is on a lift and 35's are going on.Then it will be painted as time and money allow. It started as a bare frame. Now the cab, bed, and front clip are on.The engine is almost done, the transfer case and tranny are sitting on the floor ready to go in.Crappy pic of motor below. Here is how it looks now: Attachment 220641 Attachment 220642 Attachment 220643 Last edited by 1969k10stepside; 12-28-2006 at 12:52 AM. |

Re: Putting my 69 K10 back together
That's a good idea to get one running so you can be enjoying it while you work on the other one. That will make a lot less pressure to try to get done.
