Need hei wire routing info

Does anyone have a pic that they could post that shows how the plug wires for a 350 with a hei are routed? Reason I am asking tis is because I installed a hei last night and I am having a heck of a time routing the #2 wire to the distributor.

Thanks

Re: Need hei wire routing info

If you have the ramshorns exhaust manifolds, there is a post in the FAQ with some good info.

Mine run along the back of the engine from the distributor and along the outside of the valve covers to each of the plugs. I purchased a set of wires that did not have all of the ends on them and then made the wires the right length as I installed them.

Re: Need hei wire routing info

You can run them over the top of the valve covers, if they are short. It all depends on the type of plug caps you have (straight or angled) and what type of exhaust manifold is on the motor (above the plug or below the plug).
