'64 Frame Dimensions
I need to find the proper location for the rear trailing arm crossmember. My frame was converted from a long bed to short bed. Unfortunately, whoever did the mod decided to shorten the trailing arms rather than move the crossmember forward (very ugly). Can anyone help me out with some measurements so I can relocate the crossmember?

Re: '64 Frame Dimensions
I have '64 shortbed that I'm restoring and have the bed and cab off the frame right now. I took a measurement for you and found that the front rivet of the trailing arm crossmember is exactly 29 1/2" from the rear rivet on the cab mount. In other words, the rear cab mount is held in place by two rivets on the top of the frame and the trailing arm crossmember is held by two rivets on the top of the frame as well. Measuring from the rear-most cab mount rivet to the front-most crossmember rivet (center to center) it's exactly 29 1/2 inches. Hope that helps.
