Throttle rod in way of plug wires

For those of you have installed a HEI how have you dealt with the problem of the throttle rod next to the #1 5 & 7 wires? Also truck is a 68 with small block.

How bad is it hanging up? A wire loom or plastic tie should do the trick.

Here's what I did. Looks and works great. No binding on wires.

Mines a Big block, but the wires are set in a way that i dont have any problems. Hope this helps.

I didn't install a loom kit and am changing my set up on mine. I have everything for sale on the parts board if you need a loom kit. Mine didn't interfere though...

I bought the plug wire supports from GMCPaul. I'm sure that most(?) vendors would have them? Used NAPA plug wires for an HEI 75 Vette. Useta have the p/n for the plug wires, but have since lost it. Sorry. Hope this helps?
