Truck looks good, not big fan of chopped tops but if that is what you like more power to ya! And throw that air cleaner away before it catches your whole truck on fire! those things are just a major engine fire waiting to happen!

That would be the Air filter & housing.

More English to American idiomisms...
American English
Alternator Dynamo
Gasket Joint
Gasoline Gasolene
Carburetor Carburettor
Crank Pulley Dynamic Viscous Damper
Lucas Prince of Darkness

I spent 20 years working with Perkins diesels. (sorry for the jokes) You'll be glad you got a Chevy, internally regulated electrics - no need to carry a couple extra Lucas Voltage Regulators!

WELCOME!!

Re: new from united kingdom

Welcome to the board from Western Kentucky. They are right about the filter you now have. The foam can catch on fire or just start falling apart and getting into the carb. The other picture you have is a good one for the carb. I spent my Sofmore, Junior and Senior years in England at Lakenheath Air Base American High School there. The information Krue gave you are all great places to find what you want and you will also find plenty of help on here. By the way-Nice truck!!! But if it was mine and it not being a four wheel drive, I would not have a roll bar on it. Just looks out of place on a two wheel truck. JMO
