Dirt Dobber and other Texans

Hey Man. I got the wiper switch knob and center A/C vent at junkyard in Liberty. The place is called "Terrell Auto Parts"
201 West Hwy. 90 Liberty tx. 77575. 936-336-3661
They have about 10 of our trucks out there in the back.

Hmm, there is not much here in Corpus but would someone really want anything from the rust bucket it is here? San Antonio has a few places but i found that i liked Ace Auto Parts. It is small but it has a few nice trucks to rip apart. I friend got his hood letters for his 68 and there were like i think 4 of them that had complete set of letters. Come on Texans!! what are you waiting for?? post up your *hotspots* .

There is a rare thing here in tx that only us texans can uderstand, its called texas pride. Thanks you guys for ya inputs on the subject, lets get a list of places together.

Matt

glad ya got it...

cause the parts truck didn't have one. I didn't make it to the back that day to see what was on the 3/4 ton. I know it has a radio delete plate with my name on it....the interior on the 72 parts rig is pretty stripped but I did find another v-8 fan shroud...in the back of it.

How lucky. I will be in Dayton on Saturday picking up a super clean bed from a fellow board member. That yard is only a mile or so away from there too. Guess I'll stop in to see what I can find. Thanks for the info.

He!! no I'm not done yet. The garage space is coming open soon though. I am taking my bed off tonight, and picking up the new one Sat. I put my Gauges, and the power locks in though. The Gauges are sweet. The temp stays at 210 though, I'm not real sure why though. Maybe when I put the sending unit that came with the gauge in the new engine it will read differently. I LOVE power locks though. I took out the rods that go up to the pop knobs, and cut them down and turned them upside down so the hole is open. I am going to put the alarm LED's in the holes on both doors, and I hid one central switch in the cab. When I get done there is no way anyone will be able to get into my truck unless they break a window, and then they won't be able to unlock the door to open it. I think I am going to start lowereing it on Monday. If my plate wasn't so full this weeknend I would start Sunday, but gotta go fishing with the father-in-law on Sunday. I finally feel like it is starting to come together though, I'm getting a little excited. He!! I even got it inspected and registered Tuesday. Thanks for the cam it worked great.

Josh, so I can assume you don't want my LWB bed that you said you would take? Have you been getting my emails?
