Shades of the Past Tenn.

Has anybody been to the Shades of the Past show in Pigeon Forge? I was thinking about setting up in the vendor area. Any comments?
David

I think this is more of an older street rod type event...the Grand Nationals is there in September.

I know it is a pre-49 event but I seem to talk to alot of people that say that trucks go. I know other truck vendors will be there. Sounds like it might be a gamble.

I've been to the grand national show before, and will be there again this year. It had several of our trucks and a couple of truck venders last time. More cars and trucks than you can see in two days. Mostly muscle cars, I'd say. The coolest part was being able to sit beside the boulivard with your lawnchair, a cool beverage of choice, and an icechest, and just watch them all cruise around at night. The date is september 12-14th. Hey David, if you plan to go to the grand national show, let me know. I need some headliner trim.

yes Dave, the Shades of the past is mostly street rods, but you know how those big shows are, there's a little bit of everything that shows up. I think last year there were around 2000 in attendence.

A good friend sells chevy parts just like you. He had his best selling at the "Back to the 50's" event up here in MN. Guess what truck most street rodders use to pull their cars from show to show? Our very own favorite 67-72's.
