Re: help removing rear springs and airbag?

What exactly do you mean airbag "and" spring? You're either going to have one or the other. They mount almost identically if you have a stock setup. There is a bolt from the bottom on the trailing arm, the head is underneath the trailing arm and the nut is inside the bottom of the spring. At the top, there is a bolt/nut holding it to the frame/spring plate.
For airbag: Bottom is same, bolt thru trailing arm into bottom of bag. Up top, depends on what kind of bag you have, but you'll most likely have 2 bolts.

Re: help removing rear springs and airbag?

I have the stock set up with the spring and airbag inside. I believe referred to as the helper airbag to level the load. But when i try to take to spring and bag out it wont come loose took shocks off loosened the track bar and even compressed the springs with the tool. And the it still wont come out.

It looks as if the bottom bolt is still in there. Take that out and make sure there isn't one on the top too and it should come right out.

The lower bolt that goes thru the trailing arm is still in place. You need to unbolt that one. Same for the top bolt. That's your problem.

Re: help removing rear springs and airbag?

They are still in and a pita to remove soaked in wd 40 and it did not turn. Will try soaking in pd blaster and see what happens. Another thing that I noticed was the nut was a square. Should i get different spring retainers or reuse? I think the bolts are rusted in and do not want break the bolt in trailing arm.
