help installing new aluminum rocker arms
I am installing a new set of 1.5 ratio aluminum rocker arms. The part that pivots the fits over the stud has one side rounded, the other side is flat. Which side goes to the head? I am guessing the rounded side and the flat side goes against the retainer. Is that right? Is there anything I need to know when adjusting them? Are they different to adjust than the stamp steel ones I am taking off? Thanks in advance. Doug

YES... THE BALL SIDE GOES DOWN & THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY YOU ADJUST THEM. JOHN

Re: help installing new aluminum rocker arms
Just remember used the adjustment nut like you would with a normal rocker. Then run the allen lock down to tight. Then put a wrench on the nut and then allen in and both turn them just a touch tighter, otherwise they will back off on you.
