Routing exhaust 67 swb
Could I please recieve some pictures of how to route 3" exhaust out the back of a 67 SWB pickup. I am looking to go air ride in back as well. Tank is in stock location behind seat. We are lowered approx 5" in back now.

Re: Routing exhaust 67 swb
do your air bag set up and any other mods before you take it to a muffler shop. i've been doing exhaust for well over 20 years and believe me, you'll be money ahead if all mods are done first so your muffler man knows what he has to miss. if your truck has leaf springs in the rear and a steel floor bed, it can be done as long as you do some crossmember massaging. if its a coil spring truck and/or a wood floor truck, i wouldn't attempt it unless you aren't concerned about how it looks--there will be some ugly/tight bends. definitly get some good heat shields for the bed floor, especially if you're going to run flowmasters.hope this helps.
p.s.-unless you're running a ton of horsepower, 3" is overkill and without some backpressure, gas motors lose lowend.

Thanks, Coil spings, Oak bed, big block crate approx. 450 hp. series 40 Flowmasters. It will loose some size due to the bends not being Mandrel. sounds like the exhaust might be infront of the axle. Still would like some pictures if people have them.

Re: Routing exhaust 67 swb
I have a 6" drop and the exhaust is tight! The driver side is where it's going to be the worst.
