Question ?'S ON OCTANE BOOSTS

WHAT ARE THE PRO'S & CON'S ON OCTANE BOOST??THE REASON I ASK IS THAT I'M RUNNIN 12.8 TO 1 COMPRESSION AND I DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY FOR NEW PISTONS IF I CAN JUST USE OCTANE BOOST.(RACING GAS IS TOO EXPENSIVE UNLESS IM AT THE TRACK)ANY FEEDBACK IS PRECHATED......

well i know a guy who mixes air plane fuel in his 64 vet just so it doesnt knock, it the lead he's after, octane booster is a quick and easy add of power, there are some octane booster in some shops in the area that carry one that smell as strong as liquer. you chould check out all the different types of octane booster you can get your hands on and check wiht speed shop on what they carry ,
