Turbo 400 in a 70 Blazer ?

This not asking if you can put one in, but rather did they ever come as a factory option in 1970. The reason I ask is is my 1970 has one in it. I bought it that way and just assumed that it was a Turbo 350 until I saw the pan while doing a filter change. One of the guys at the local tranmittion shop said they were never an option on the Blazer, but I thought someone here might know different.
Thanks

It was not an option as far as I know. I could see one getting in there in a 2WD, since the 2WD TH400 did exist at the time, and was used in the pickups. In a 4WD, no way. The 4WD version of the TH400 did not come about until the mid/late '70s.

THANKS, I was pretty sure that was the case, but always good to know for sure. Now I need to check the numbers on the engine to be sure that it is a 350 like the guy who sold it to me said it was.
