Can you identify this axle?
Just as the title states. Can you identify this axle? Is there enough there to give any identifing marks? This is under an '85 Chevrolet front end. Guesses? This vehicle is being shipped to me but it's killing me to know the drive train. Here is another thread with a little more detail. Another thread

Re: Can you identify this axle?
Is that 'burb a 1/2 ton? If it is, then that should be a 10 bolt, if it's factory.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
I'd bet it's a gm 10-bolt because it has little fangs on bottom just like my 86 1/2 ton.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
Looks like a 10 bolt. They have these tabs at the corners.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
It's a burb 3/4 ton. It has the full float rearend so it is 8600 GVWR.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
It's probably still a 10 bolt in the front.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
Unless it was swapped out, it is a 10bolt which is factory. There were no 1T Burbs, so no D60 from the factory.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
you can see the ball joints from here, see how the axle C is above knuckle at the top and bottom. d60's the knuckles go over the axle C on top and under on bottom.

Re: Can you identify this axle?
Yep, that'd be a 3/4 ton 10 bolt. Has two u-bolts on the pass side too, D60 only has one.
