electrical issues...
ive been in the process of redoing my wiring harness but im having problems with the turn signals and brake lights since i had the truck. when i put on the brakes the lights in the grill light up and the rears just dim. the turn signals barely work, im thinking its the switch on the column cause that looks like its shot. i have the wires for the brake lights ran as it showed in the wiring diagram but is there any other reason that it could be back feeding up front???

Re: electrical issues...
Do your 4 way flashers work? The only time I have ever seen the front ones come on with the brake lights, is when the 4 ways are on. Your flasher could be bad, or simply removed.

Re: electrical issues...
yeah now that i think of it, when i put a new flasher in, the lights were flashing cause the switch is on and broken, so i cant turn it off. so maybe i have to fix the switch or could i just disconnect the wires? im not that great electrical stuff so thats why i was asking, i dont wanna sound stupid or anything haha. thanks.

Re: electrical issues...
disconnect the battery, and use needle nose pliers, reach into the hole where the 4 way switch is, and see if you can pull it out (turn them off)
