Step Bars?
I was thinking about putting some chrome or stainless step bars on the CC. is any brand really any better than the other? How good is the functionality of them? Anything else I need to know about them?

Re: Step Bars?
Are you going to use them as a step or just for looks. If you want them for looks put the ones like N2TRUCKS has in my opinion they look great if you want steps I think they are all the same except some are chrome plated steel some are stainless steel theyn all mount pretty much the same way. Heres apic of Ken's truck they are Sport Tubes made by Westin.

Re: Step Bars?
Westin makes a nice product. Since you live in Texas you shouldn't have to worry about road salt so you don't really "need" stainless.

Re: Step Bars?
I like the Gm bars because the black step part goes front to rear! Most have two seperate steps. If you step in between you might do a face plant and lose some teeth!

Re: Step Bars?
I have Smittybilt bars on my '96, love em'. The bars have been on the truck since new, still no rust or problems. I use them as steps every time I get in the truck. They have even saved my left door in a wreck, with no damage to the bars. Personally, I wouldn't use anything but Smittybilt.
