WTB: 6" rear drop coils

I'm looking to buy a set of 6" rear drop coils for my 68 Chevy truck. If someone has a set they would like to sell or trade for 4" rear coils LMK. Or who has the best price for a set?

Gabe, I don't know that they make a 6" drop spring. THe biggest I have seen is 5", You could always just add 2" lowering blocks to get down where you want to be, and would save you some work too boot.

Re: WTB: 6" rear drop coils

wouldn't 6" of drop all in the springs nearly eliminate your suspension travel and ride quality? wouldn't one be better off with 4"drop springs and 2"blocks?

Could some one tell me if this would be true? If I put 2" lowering blocks with the 4" coils would I need to relocate the shocks and add a panbar?

Re: WTB: 6" rear drop coils

yes you should, it will ride alot better. The panhard bar is also needed when dropping the rear that much. I dropped mine 5" in the rear with 3" springs and 2" blocks to retain as much travel as I could. I had to use the panhard bar to center up the rear end, and the relocators really set the shocks back into their stock position for maximum effectiveness
