Paint code question

I will be painting my GMC the original color. I've learned from you guys that the color code is on the glove box door. I assumed the code should of been 503 for med. olive. I did look and the number on the door for this two-tone truck is 535. Using the chart a few guys have posted on this forum, it basically tells me this number means it was two-tone and the chart then gave me 42850 Body color, and 2185 Body two-tone color. Has anyone had any experience buying paint for the white/med. olive trucks, and what numbers did you end up using? I can see all this taking a bad turn once I walk in to Carquest. Thanks for any help.

Re: Paint code question

I can tell ya for sure that the 503 GMcolor is a light almost seafoam looking green. definetly not near the olive at all.
