Road Trip Help This Weekend Portland, OR to Sandpoint, ID

I have been talking up this board and the folks here pretty hard. A grade school and high school friend of mine (he's a Chevy guy)was given his father's Ranchero that he is too sick to restore. I was bought new in 1972, 351C, rare Q code engine w/4V heads and 4-sd. Family car and must be kept and restored. He is going to retrieve it this weekend and is leaving Portland on Sunday. I-84, I-82, 730, 395, I-90 and finally 95. Anyone along this route that might be willing to help in an emergency. He has AAA, tools, parts, extra oil, belts, hoses, filters, antifreeze, water and several spare tires. Most everything has been done on the vehicle but a little extra insurance does not hurt. Anyone along the route that might be willing to lend a hand in an emergency would be appreciated...I know it's a F**D...but it is an original '72. Sorry for the long post but this is a great board with great folks.

Some jobs around Seattle. Not sure what you are looking for but OR and WA are two high unemployment areas. Some skills are still required however. PM me on what you are looking for.
