saw the new chevy truck commercial last tuesday

I saw the new commercail with the history of Chevy on tuesday, they had a tailgate of what looked to be a 67-68 in it, but I am not for sure, I know it was a white letter gate on a gold 2 tone.

Re: saw the new chevy truck commercial last tuesday

I've seen two of them now. One of them had John Mellencamp song, which I thought was a decent commercial. The other one, I don't remember what song it was, I just remember seeing the commercial and thinking it was a bit overly proud, which I kinda frowned upon (seven deadly sins... )

I'm kinda biased with commercials though, my woman has been working at ad agencies forever, so I get to help with the creative stuff and brainstorming, and I get to see some of the stuff that the guys try to sell to the manufacturer, which is usually so hilarious your sides would split (everyone is so conservative these days though, or worried about getting sued, so they hold a LOT of the great stuff back)

I like the new John Cougar Mellencamp commercial but could still listen to Bob Seeger forever! The tailgate is a good one...where can I get it...LOL! It would be really nice if it was a members truck!

Re: saw the new chevy truck commercial last tuesday

I love the new chevy comercials, in my opinion this is one of the few times that chevy's ad department has outdone themselves, I watch tv waiting for the comercials! I just hope they make more, they are pretty sweet. And the trucks look AWESOME in person, not a fan of them in pictures but the pictures don't do them justice

In one of the commercials they have 5 yellow labs in the back of the gold truck... that is my favorite part.

Yeah, talk about overplayed. That commercial must have run 10 times in the first 15 minutes.

I like the one where the truck morphs from the 1st to the newest generation (although, I noticed they skipped a few generations! --

Re: saw the new chevy truck commercial last tuesday

I saw the one that morphs also, but can't seem to find it. It's the one I like the most. Shows a shot looking through the back window out the front of a 67-72 and really shows the beauty of the dash.
