Re: 69-72 Side marker Lights ?: Van?-96, TransAm70-81
Yes, 1986 – 1995 G-van side marker lights (front and rear) are an exact fit our 1968 – 1972 C/K trucks.
I ordered brand new G-Van side markers lights for my 68’ GMC when I was building it up back in 1993. I wired them up as well and the front side marker lights alternate with the turn signal light in the grill when the turn signals are on. Just like the 71 and 72 trucks.

Re: 69-72 Side marker Lights ?: Van?-96, TransAm70-81
I love the 86-95 van ones to. They are smooth and seem to be more briter. I go to the pull-a-parts for them. I get them for like a 1.50 at pull-apart. I have seen a write up on the trans am ones. They are not a bolt in thing. They require some modifications. Been awhile since I herd anything on the transam lights.

Thanks so much for the info guys. I'm a Pull your part kinda guy, that sounds great. Although since I'm painting the '69 Suburban White, I'm wondering if the Clear type would look better ?!? The red and ambers look really nice on the other color trucks, but mine will be all white with chrome and all led bulbs. I really like the smooth look; does any one know who might have the Clear van type ?!?

You can still get the van type from gm. I paid about $15 each for mine.

Any late 60's to '95 or '96 van will work. I believe most of the 80's vans had the "deluxe" style, with the chrome, that you see on Cheyennes, too.
