a/c question

I have a 72 3/4 4x4 that i put a 454 in. Got all the a/c stuff with the 454. It is set up for the a/c compressor to be on the driver side, like 1973 on is. My question is can I combine the two, use the 72 firewall box but put the compressor on the drivers side. All my brackets and hoses are for the driver side setup.

Re: a/c question

Yes you can. Once you get everything like you want it go to an a/c shop and have them make a custom a/c hose for you. It helps if you have both the old hose for end comparison for how it hooks to the a/c on the truck and the hose for the brackets and compressor you have. Just take it there and tell them what you want and they should be able to hook you up.
